SpyWare / AdWare is software that runs on your computer with out your knowledge or permission. The purpose of SpyWare / AdWare is to collect personal information from you and send that back to marketing companies so they can target you with advertising resulting in un-wanted Popups and Spam. Some SpyWare / AdWare will continually reset your home page and add often embarrassing entries in your favourites to sites you have never visited. New icons may also appear on your desk top. Your preferred Search Engine may be redirected to another site which looks the same but returns fake results with its own sponsors at the top of the results. New keyword links can appear on all web pages taking you to their own sponsors. The most malicious SpyWare can target your financial information such as credit card numbers and is able to record your key stokes when you access online banking and other secure services.

If that scares you IT SHOULD!

MANAGING SPAM – WE FINALLY WE FOUND A SOLUTION

We have tried many anti-spam products and found Mail Washer to be the most effective at managing spam. We needed a solution that did not try to make decisions for us resulting in missing mails. This is unfortunately the case with many so called Anti-spam solutions. There was one very effect solution we also tried that forces the mail sender confirm their email thus confirming they are human but this introduced an unacceptable delay and inconvenience to the person trying to communicate with us.

With Mail Washer you stay in Control. Mail Washer works by downloading only the headers (like the titles) of incoming mail to a special preview window where they are presorted for you. You build lists of allowed or friendly email recipients based on their address or domain over time. These are automatically given a green light. Other mail is classified for you based on known spam footprints and spam lists that Mail Washer consults.

The results is a sorted list with those identified as known spam ticked ready for deletion. You can quickly scan the list examining the doubtful email also ticked ready for deletion and if you see any you want to allow you simply un-tick them. Then press the process mail button and the mail is deleted on the server before it reaches your inbox.

Delete spam, viruses and other unwanted emails right at the server.

This saves you time by not downloading unwanted emails to your inbox and almost eliminates the possibility of getting a virus or some other nasty. The best thing is Mail Washer has a built in learning capability. The more you use it the smarter it gets and identifying between what you consider spam and legitimate emails. You can also do a lot of manually configuration creating your own filters. We have found just using its default configuration has worked for us.

Check out the easy way to get rid of spam and viruses.

Save time by only getting the email you want! .
